QIIN lays out a strategic vision for 2025

A significant step toward our goals for 2025

The Quality Improvement Institute of Nigeria (QIIN) is delighted to announce the outcomes of a recent strategic planning meeting, marking a significant step toward our goals for 2025.

During the meeting, we discussed the synergy between QIIN’s overall objectives, core values, and QoLII’s specific goals. The strategy session centered on leveraging the strengths and opportunities and dynamism of our volunteers to push the limits of quality improvement across diverse sectors in Nigeria.

Key Initiatives for 2025 Include:

• Teen Educational Outreach: Launch teen educational outreach for secondary schools based on the fundamentals of quality.
• Strengthening Volunteerism: Equip our volunteers with the necessary knowledge and tools to serve as ambassadors of quality through our online ISO 56002: 2019 Innovation Management Certification Course.
• Collaborative Engagement: Strengthen the culture of collaboration and build more partnerships, allowing for mutual growth among volunteers, collaborators, and the broader society.
• Research Grants for Sustainability: Concentrating on waste-to-wealth management, these grants support innovative research that transforms waste materials into valuable products, promoting environmental sustainability and economic growth.
• Increasing participation in ISO 15189:2022: With the help of QIIN faculty volunteers, this project aims to improve the quality and standardization of medical labs all over Nigeria by running a certification course.
• Release of the ISO 9001:2015 Healthcare Working Manual: With the overwhelming experiences in our partnership with Cademy Ltd. in getting healthcare facilities certified, this manual will provide comprehensive guidelines to healthcare organizations on implementing and maintaining QMS.

• 2nd Annual National Quality Improvement Summit 2025: NQIS in November 2025 during the quality week will be the climax of our activities in the coming year as we gather together and celebrate our achievement.
• QIIN is excited about the road ahead and confident in our team’s ability to make substantial impacts. We look forward to engaging more deeply with volunteers, our community, and stakeholders as we unfold the next chapters of our journey toward quality improvement.
