 Year of Remarkable Collaborations with Cademy Ltd.
The Quality Improvement Institute of Nigeria (QIIN) is excited to share the significant strides made this year in partnership with Cademy Ltd, enhancing quality management systems (QMS) across several healthcare organizations in Nigeria. Our collaborative efforts have successfully supported Viva Fertility Clinic, Procare Hospital, JECE Hospital, and MOM Fertility Clinic in achieving ISO 9001:2015 certification, marking a milestone in healthcare excellence and strengthening efforts at reversing medical tourism.
This year’s journey has not only been about reaching certification goals but also about deepening our understanding of QMS through comprehensive system-wide staff training. Many participating staff members received individual certification up to the internal auditor level, while the organizations benefited from QIIN corporate membership registration and the prestigious Fellow membership awards for their MDs/CEOs.
MQA London, the certification body, and MSSPACE have been instrumental in this endeavor, providing rigorous external audits that challenged us to refine our systems meticulously. The questions posed by participants and the insightful nonconformities raised during their audits have enriched our experiences, contributing to a robust learning environment.
The success stories from our 2024 engagements have set the stage for further initiatives. With seven healthcare organizations now certified and several surveillance recertifications, QIIN is excited to announce the upcoming release of a working guide for establishing ISO 9001:2015 in healthcare systems that includes the clinical governance strategy. This FREE guide, accompanied by our certification training, will be an invaluable resource for healthcare professionals striving for excellence.
