A Pioneer Volunteer, Winfred Abba
At the Quality Improvement Institute of Nigeria (QIIN), our journey toward advancing a culture of quality improvement across Nigeria has been shaped by the dedication of individuals who have given their time, expertise, and passion to the cause.
It is in this spirit that we proudly recognise Winfred Abba, who was honoured as an Outstanding Pioneer Volunteer of QIIN, in appreciation of her invaluable contributions as a Brand Communication Expert.
A Recognition Well Deserved
The award was formally announced during the Award Night of the 2nd National Quality Improvement Summit (NQIS 2025), held at the Nicon Luxury Hotel, Abuja, on November 13, 2025. The event brought together key stakeholders, professionals, and partners committed to driving quality improvement across sectors in Nigeria.
Although Winfred Abba was unable to attend the ceremony physically, her impact and contributions were prominently acknowledged and celebrated among peers and industry leaders.
Bringing the Honour Home
In a heartfelt follow-up, the recognition was personally delivered to her.
Maria-Blessing O. Paschal, Coordinator of the Quality of Life Improvement Initiative (QoLII) under QIIN, paid a visit to present the award on behalf of QIIN. The moment was both symbolic and meaningful, reflecting QIIN’s commitment to ensuring that contributions are not only recognised but also personally appreciated.
Celebrating the Spirit of Volunteerism
This recognition serves as a reminder to all members of the QIIN community, volunteers, partners, and stakeholders that every contribution matters.
Whether through training, research, stakeholder engagement, or communication, each effort contributes to building a stronger culture of quality in Nigeria.
We extend our sincere appreciation to Winfred Abba for her dedication and pioneering role, and we look forward to engaging more individuals who share in our vision of advancing quality improvement across Nigeria.
